Men's and Women's Truro Sevens Champs |

Congratulations to both our men's and women's 7s teams,
who travelled to Truro in early March and both came back winners.
The women dominated their opponents throughout the tournament,
while the men had a tough match in the final against Cole Harbour.

Cayman Islands Tour a Great Success |

Many thanks to all those who toured the Cayman Islands in February 2008. The Cayman Rugby Club were great hosts and put on a great post match party for the entire Irish tour group which was over 40 in total. The OIRC was very well represented both on and off the field and a great time was had by all. The game was played in the blazing heat with the Irish coming away with a hard fought victory. The forwards were in fine form with outstanding efforts from Will Thompson (3 tries), Craig Billo (Captain), Ian Maclean (1 try), Brian Botting, Danny Cyr, Chris Hewitt, Izzy Hanson, Tim Powers and Brandon Price to name a few. The back line was equally as impressive with the likes of Paul Doherty (3 tries), Scott Dexter (2 tries), Rene Monette, Jim Carr, Rob Kyte, Chip Wilson, Roger Blair, Steve Riley and Scott Hunter all putting forth outstanding efforts.
