The Ottawa Irish Rugby Club welcomes any U-16 player. No experience is necessary. Our coaching staff are eager to introduce all players to the concepts and skills involved in the sport of rugby. The U-16s will compete in the Eastern Ontario Rugby League. Practices begin on Tuesday June 12th from 5pm to 6:30pm at Colonel By High School on Ogilvie Rd. Players are encouraged to get registered as soon as possible and can begin practicing as soon as school committments allow. League games will begin later this month, and the club is working to arrange other exhibition games into the fall months for those interested.

     Annual club dues include coverage under Rugby Canada Insurance, as well as a warm-up shirt and socks. Game jerseys are provided by the club.

    To get registered, print out the Rugby Canada Registration Form (within the Play For Us menu) and bring it, along with a cheque for $225 payable to the OIRC, to any training session Tuesday or Thursday, or mail it in to us:
