The Ottawa Irish have been bringing pride to wearing the green and gold for over 40 years. Our men currenlty field 3 mens teams as well as junior teams. The Irish aspire to fullfill the needs of our members by providing support of all levels of play, from social to the elite. The Men's Premiere side competes in the Bardon Division which provides opposition from Eastern Ontario as well as the FRQ, and have also competed within the ORU McCormack Cup Round where the top Bardon teams cross over againts the top teams out of Toronto. The Irish Premiere team begins its season in May and plays weekly (discluding long-weekends) until late October / early November. The Men's Second and Third teams compete in the EORU Division 1 and 2 Leagues where teams face-off against other EORU sides. Once the summer league wraps up, there is also a more "recreational" fall league available for those who just haven't had enough rugby in the summer. All teams train at the same time and place: Colonel By Secondary School on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm from May until October. Players of all levels of experience and ages are welcome. Please contact us with any questions.
